Novarix were pleased to be amongst the INS 2017 exhibitors in Minneapolis in May 6-9.
This 4-day event organised by the Infusion Nurses Society was full of educational opportunities, including case studies, track sessions, roundtable discussions, and peer presentations.
Visitors to the Novarix stand discovered how the IV-eye vein visualization device can help with assessment and location of veins for peripheral venipuncture and cannulation.
This event follows the release of the Infusion Nurses Society 2016 Infusion Therapy Standards of Practice which recommend that vascular visualisation technology is used in patients with difficult venous access and/or failed venipuncture attempts.
Rod Thomson, VP Sales and Marketing for Novarix in the United States, attended the event.
“It was great to see people at INS 2017 getting excited about how the IV-eye can help them to meet the recommendations set out in the Infusion Therapy Standards of Practice to help improve patient outcomes.”
