Novarix were pleased to attend the Association for Vascular Access Annual Scientific Meeting 2017 in Phoenix as an official AVA exhibitor.
The 2017 annual meeting took place September 16-19 at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
This four-day meeting provided delegates with opportunities to participate in educational sessions, professional development roundtables, hands-on clinical training, new product demonstrations, and lots of networking.
As an official AVA exhibitor, Novarix offered delegates the opportunity to assess their own peripheral veins using the IV-eye near infrared vein finder.
The IV-eye is small, portable, easy to use and may help to improve peripheral vascular access, in line with recommendations from the Infusion Nurses Society, Infusion Therapy Standards of Practice 2016:
Standard 22: Vascular Visualization – “Especially for patients with difficult venous access, such technology can contribute to success in peripheral catheter placement.”
Visit the official AVA Annual Scientific Meeting website to download all of the educational session slides.
